Our Team

At the heart of FND – What Now? is a dedicated and multidisciplinary team that brings together lived experience, professional expertise, and a deep commitment to supporting individuals with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) in South Africa (SA).

Our Team

In addition to our day-to-day roles, we also fulfill formal governance responsibilities within the organisation’s Board Structure. These positions are strategically assigned to ensure both accountability and sustainability. While some board members are actively involved in public-facing work, others serve in a more reserved or advisory capacity, providing vital oversight and continuity behind the scenes.

All roles within the organisation are currently voluntary and fulfilled on a part-time basis. We work remotely, allowing us to collaborate flexibly and draw on diverse strengths and perspectives from different regions. This structure supports both our grassroots ethos and our commitment to professional governance - ensuring we remain transparent, responsive, and well-positioned for sustainable growth.

"Growing beyond the limits of my condition"

While we come from different backgrounds and bring unique strengths to the table, we're united by a shared commitment to community, lifelong learning, and improving quality of life.
