Bridging Clinical Knowledge and Lived Experience to Improve Care

Advancing FND Care in SA

At FND – What Now? NPC, we believe that education and awareness are essential to improving the recognition, diagnosis, and treatment of Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and its associated comorbidities.

Healthcare professionals play a vital role in ensuring that people with FND receive timely diagnoses, appropriate treatment, and compassionate, patient-centred care. Access to reliable educational resources can help strengthen clinical understanding, reduce diagnostic delays, and challenge the stigma that many patients continue to experience.

We have compiled a selection of resources to support healthcare professionals in developing their understanding of FND, including our South African FND Clinician Toolkit and educational videos from different international clinical organisations. * The information provided is for educational and informational purposes only and is not intended to replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
